How to make spicy maple aioli
This is a very easy recipe and you will be able to make it in less than 3 minutes. Here are the ingredients you will need:
- Mayonnaise. The base for this rich and creamy aioli.
- A good-quality maple syrup. Adds sweetness to the sauce.
- Sriracha. You can also use hot sauce or cayenne pepper for a kick of flavor.
- Salt. To balance out all the flavors.
First, pull out the mayonnaise from the fridge and scoop some into the small bowl.
Next, add in high-quality maple syrup. I usually use an organic maple syrup that I buy from Costco. It has a good price and it’s delicious. That bottle lasts us forever! Add a pinch of salt to the bowl as well.
Now to the fun part. Since it’s not an average aioli recipe, we are going to add some hot sauce! I prefer to use sriracha, additionally, you can add some cayenne pepper. Add as much as you want and taste it along the way.
I will have some exact measurements in the recipe card for not too spicy aioli. Add more if you feel like it.

Is it dairy free
This recipe is dairy free. Mayonnaise only has eggs, oil, and some type of acid like vinegar or lemon juice. Sriracha is made with chili, sugar, salt, garlic, vinegar only. No dairy ingredients in maple sauce as well.
What do you put it on
You can put it on anything you would put mayo on. Serve it as a dip for crispy french fries or sweet potato fries, as a spread for your favorite sandwiches, or served with roasted root vegetables or sausage. The options are endless!
I personally like to make these air fryer chicken thighs or air fryer turkey wings and serve them with some spicy maple aioli. Just dip that wings right in to the bowl and enjoy! For thighs i prefer to cut a piece with a knife and dip as well. Delicious and perfect when you have friends over.

- You can use any kind of mayo in this recipe. You can actually try to make this recipe with vegan mayo that doesn’t have eggs in it. The dip will be delicious.
Store leftovers in a closed plastic or glass jar. It will stay fresh in the fridge for up to two weeks easily. Do not freeze. Or if you like this dip so much you can easily make a huge batch of it. Just mix maple syrup and sriracha right into the mayonnaise jar, give it a stir and voila. You own a nice big batch of spicy maple aioli that will last.
