The best part? No deep fryer needed. The Ninja Crispi does all the heavy lifting and delivers restaurant-style wings right in your kitchen.

Why I Love Making Wings in the Ninja Crispi

Wings are always a favorite in my house, but I used to avoid making them at home because of the mess of frying or the long oven time. The Ninja Crispi changed that. It gets the wings perfectly crispy without extra oil, and they're done in about 20 minutes.

It's fast, easy, and clean-up is way less stressful. Once I made wings in the Crispi, there was no going back.

What Makes the Honey Soy Glaze So Good

The flavor here is all about balance. Soy sauce adds saltiness, honey brings sweetness, sesame oil gives depth, garlic and ginger add warmth, and rice vinegar keeps everything bright. A touch of sriracha (if you like spice!) takes it over the top.

As the wings cook, this glaze caramelizes just enough to stick to the skin, creating that glossy, finger-licking finish.

Tips for Making the Best Wings

Pat the wings dry before marinating so they crisp up better.

Marinate longer if possible. Even 30 minutes helps, but overnight takes the flavor deeper.

Don't overcrowd the basket. The wings need space for the air to circulate, which is what makes the skin crisp.

What to Serve with Honey Soy Chicken Wings

These wings are versatile and can easily be a snack or the centerpiece of dinner. Try pairing them with:

    • Steamed jasmine rice
    • Simple stir-fried veggies like broccoli or green beans
    • A crunchy cucumber salad
    • Sesame noodles or fried rice

    How to Store Leftovers

If you happen to have leftovers, store them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

Would you like to save this?

We'll email this post to you, so you can come back to it later!

To reheat, skip the microwave and put them back in the Ninja Crispi at 375°F for 5-7 minutes. They'll crisp right back up.

Can You Freeze Cooked Chicken Wings?

Yes! Let them cool completely, then place them in a freezer-safe container or bag. They'll keep for about 2 months. To reheat, thaw in the fridge overnight and then crisp them up again in the air fryer.

When to Make Ninja Crispi Chicken Wings

These wings aren't just for dinner. They're perfect for:

    • Game nights and sports parties
    • Movie nights with the family
    • A fun weekend snack
    • Potlucks and gatherings where finger food is a must

FAQ About Ninja Crispi Chicken Wings

Do I need to preheat the Ninja Crispi?
Most of the time, yes. A quick 2-3 minute preheat helps the wings start crisping right away.

Can I use boneless wings instead?
Absolutely! Boneless wings will cook a little faster, usually 14-16 minutes instead of 20.

Can I make these wings without marinating?
Yes, but the flavor won't be as deep. If you're in a rush, even a 15-minute soak in the sauce makes a difference.

How do I know when the wings are done?
They should reach an internal temperature of 165°F, but the best sign is crispy golden skin and juices running clear.

    Can I double the recipe?
Yes, but cook in batches so the wings don't overlap in the basket. Overcrowding leads to soggy skin.

Recipe seems fine except for the fact when it says cooking time it says thighs, not wings so how long do I cook wings for? I’m cooking wings not thighs. Just a question. Thank you.

Oh thank you so much for pointing it out for me! That's a mistake, the cooking time is provided for the wings not thighs
