What beef is good for slow cooker?
I like to say that any kind of beef is great. You can go with cheaper cut of meat with no problem.
Traditionally best cut of beef for slow cooking are chuck roast, round steak. skirt steak and even blade steak. I would not use crock pot for cooking expensive steaks like rib eye or New York.

Can i put raw meat in a slow cooker?
Absolutely yes! This is actually the only way of cooking beef in crock pot- put it raw, close the lid and wait until its done.
When you cook beef for a few hours on low or even high, the meat becomes so tender and juicy...and just so delicious! Pair it with some vegetables (cauliflower rice!) or fresh lettuce for a complete keto meal.
The best way to serve this recipe is with CAULIFLOWER RICE. KETO AND YUM!
