How to make London broil tacos
This is one of the easiest recipe i have on my site. Its very easy to put together and then just wait until its cooked. You will need to put a London broil steak in the slow cooker. For extra flavor you can brown meat on the skillet on both sides.
Then add your seasonings like ground cumin, dried oregano, salt and black pepper. Add minced or chopped garlic and adobo sauce with couple peppers.
Add lime juice and Rotel can. If you don't have Rotel just substitute it with diced fresh or canned tomatoes. Stir topping around a little bit and close the lid.
Slow cook for 8 hours on LOW. Once done, shred the meat using two forks. Mix with the juices and sauce. Now its ready to be served on tacos!
What kind of meat to use
London broil is not a cut of meat but a cooking method, where the meat was broiled and then sliced very thin. The actual cut of meat used for London broil is top-round or flank steak. So if you can't find a package of meat labeled "London broil" it's perfectly fine to use those cuts instead!
These cuts of meat come from a tougher part of the animal so they are usually very affordable compared to other cuts of beef. Because London broil can be tough it is usually marinaded before being cooked, but I decided to cook it in the slow cooker instead.
This method is much more hands off and you don't have to bother with a separate marinading step.

Substitutions
London broil. Flank steak, top round, or shirt steak can all be used in place of London broil in this recipe.
Adobo sauce. Adobo seasoning, jalapeno peppers, chili powder, chipotle peppers, or ancho chile paste are great alternatives.
Rotel. Use fresh or canned diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and green chilies instead of a can of Rotel.
Lime juice. Can use lemon or orange juice instead if you prefer.
Variations
Make it with chicken. If you enjoy chicken over beef, feel free to use chicken breasts or thighs instead! Make sure to adjust the cooking time so that the meat doesn't overcook.
Make it spicy. Feel free to make these London Broil tacos extra spicy by cooking the meat with cayenne pepper, chopped jalapeno peppers, or hot sauce.
Make burritos or a taco bowl. Shred the meat to make cheese burritos or make a taco bowl with white rice, diced tomatoes, cheese, beans, and guacamole.
