If you never tried a turkey tenderloin before, you should. Its much smaller than the whole turkey breast but basically is the same thing. The best option if you are only cooking for one or two people.
How to make Ninja foodi turkey tenderloin (overview)
Take turkey out of package. I like to rinse mine turkey tenderloin with cold running water. Most of tenderloins are sold in salt solution and i want to wash most of it off.
Pat dry any excess water with paper towels. Mix all the spices in a small bowl and rub turkey all over. Using tongs place tenderloins in to an air fryer basket. There is no need to grease or spray with oil. Ninja foodi air fryer basket is non stick.
Cook at 350 degrees for about 22-25 minutes. Cooking time depend on the size of turkey and its thickness. When i am cooking any kind of meat, poultry or fish i always use instant meat thermometer. Turkey just like chicken should be cooked to at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit internal temperature.
What part of turkey is tenderloin
Turkey tenderloin is a skinless and boneless part of turkey breast. It varies in sizes and is very low in fat. Stores sell this cut of turkey in meat and poultry isle and in a vacuum sealed package. I never had a problem finding turkey tenderloin fresh. You will see them more often close to Holiday season.

Side dishes
My absolutely favorite side dish for all turkey recipes is creamy dreamy mashed potatoes. Make it with the skin on or peeled. Add a bunch of butter and cream and season with salt and roasted garlic, oh la la!
White rice with vegetables is a great side dish too. Brussels sprouts, green beans, cranberry sauce or your favorite recipe for sweet potato casseroleā¦ Options are endless.
Leftovers
You can store this Ninja foodi turkey tenderloin for up to 4 days in the fridge. Use an air tight container or just a bowl with the plastic wrap tightly placed on top. Donāt allow any air to get in or turkey will dry out.
You can also freeze it. Thaw before reheating. Reheat in the oven or in the microwave.
Thanksgiving turkey
If making this Ninja foodi turkey recipe for Thanksgiving or Christmas, keep in mind that 1 tenderloin is about 1 portion. Unless you have really really large tenderloins. When serving top with homemade cranberry sauce and delicious brown gravy.
As you can see on the pictures in the post(scroll up), two tenderloins took almost the entire space in the Ninja foodi air fryer basket. Don't overcrowd. Ninja foodi needs enough space to let the air circulate inside the air fryer basket. If you have many guests to feed, i recommend cooking tenderloins in batches or even better make Baked turkey tenderloin with lemon pepper seasoning. This way you can totally bake as much turkey as you want at one time.
