Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole chicken cut in to parts
  • 1 onion quartered
  • 6 garlic cloves roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • couple springs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bullion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in the Possible cooker using Searing option. Add chicken pieces and sear until browned on each side. Add onion and garlic.
  • Add all the spices and close the lid. Keep cooking on SAUTE for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Press Braise and cook for another hour.

Notes

  • If you want to set and forget kind of recipe, sear chicken for 5 minutes (for color) and then slow cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours.
  • To prevent chicken breast from drying out, you can remove it from the pot after the searing part is done in original recipe. Wrap in foil and place back after all the cooking is done.
  • Add BBQ sauce for delicious BBQ chicken flavor.
  • There is no need to add any water or broth to the recipes because chicken will give enough juices while cooking.
