Ninja Combi turkey breast is a winning option for holiday celebrations, family gatherings, or any relaxing weekend meal! This quick(er) and easy recipe includes turkey breast, lemon and garlic, and just a few spices for a juicy, tender and delicious main dish that is sure to please.

    ninja combi turkey breast

Love to serve turkey for the holidays, but not a fan of cooking a whole turkey any day of the year? This Ninja Combi turkey breast recipe is the perfect choice! It's ideal for hosting a more intimate Thanksgiving or winter holiday dinner with 4-6 guests, with no worry of an overwhelming amount of leftovers.

Here I show you step-by-step how to prepare a bone-in turkey breast (skin on or off) with only a handful of simple spices and classic aromatics. And while cooking, we've got the Ninja on the Combi Crisp to get the most golden brown and crisp skin possible!

Best of all, this scrumptious main dish cooks in a fraction of the time of a full-size turkey... It's ready to serve for a celebratory meal or casual evening with your favorite side dishes in less than an hour!

    Recipe ingredients

Turkey breast. Choose a 3-5 pounds breast, your choice of skin-on or skin-off. Note that to fit the turkey into the Combi you'll need to spatchcock it first. Gently pat the the breast dry so the spices stick well to the meat and the skin (if leaving on) gets nice and crisp.

Olive oil. I suggest a high-quality oil for the best flavor and to get the crispiest turkey skin. You can use other high-temp cooking oils like avocado oil or canola oil, if you prefer.

Water. To make the fragrant "bath" at the bottom of the Ninja Combi. This water is what will essentially steam the turkey to juicy perfection, while also infusing the meat with cozy and delicious flavors.

Lemon. Cut into sections that will fit in the bottom tray.

Garlic and onion. Including fresh garlic cloves and onion slices of white or yellow in the tray makes the turkey super flavorful, and without overwhelming the yummy taste of the well-seasoned bird.

Spices. Use a perfectly simple dry seasoning blend that is easy to make with garlic powder and onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt and black pepper. But feel free to change things up and season the breast with whatever blend of spices you like!

What to serve with turkey breast

Make this Ninja Combi roasted turkey breast the centerpiece of your Thanksgiving table, or any holiday dinner! Savory, juicy and crisp slices of turkey are perfect to pair with family favorites like mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato casserole, and any classic down-home comfort foods.

And don't forget the dinner rolls and/or cornbread and cranberry sauce, too!

But remember, turkey is not just for Thanksgiving! This protein-rich bird is also a terrific main dish for a casual weekend. Serve thick slices of turkey breast with all kinds of hearty veggies like roasted or sauteed potatoes, asparagus, green beans, Brussels sprouts, beets, cauliflower, broccoli... So yes, basically, any vegetables.

    Frequently asked questions

What size turkey breast can I cook in my Ninja Combi?

A Ninja Combi can comfortably fit a 3 to 5 lb turkey breast. Keep in mind that the turkey does need to be spatchcocked to actually fit in there though.

Can I cook frozen turkey breast?

Yes, it is easy to cook even frozen turkey in the Ninja Combi! Season as you would a thawed breast and simply extend the cooking time to 55-60 minutes.

Should I brine my turkey before cooking?

Brining is always an option, of course, but I don't think it is a necessity for a delicious bird. Turkey breast is already very tender, and the Combi's powerful steaming and crisping capabilities make the meat practically melt in your mouth!

Do you flip a spatchcock turkey?

No, there is no need to flip the spatchcocked turkey breast in a Ninja. The Combi evenly cooks from the top and bottom, practically ensuring that every bite is perfect!
