Ingredients
Fresh Cranberries: The main ingredient, bringing a tangy, slightly tart flavor and a deep red color to the sauce.
Sugar: Sweetens the sauce and balances the natural tartness of the cranberries.
Orange Juice: Adds a fresh citrus flavor and enhances the overall taste with a bright, zesty note.
Water: Helps dissolve the sugar and creates the liquid base for the sauce to simmer and thicken.
Expert tips
Rinse and Sort the Cranberries: Rinse the cranberries thoroughly and remove any soft or damaged ones for the best texture and flavor.
Use Fresh Orange Juice: Squeeze fresh orange juice instead of using bottled juice for a brighter, fresher taste.

Adjust Sweetness: If you prefer a less sweet sauce, reduce the sugar slightly or substitute some with honey or maple syrup for a unique flavor twist.
Donāt Overcook: Once the cranberries start to pop and soften, cook just a little longer to avoid turning the sauce into jelly.
Cool Completely: Let the sauce cool before servingāit thickens as it cools, giving it the perfect consistency.
How to store leftovers
Allow the cranberry sauce to cool completely, then transfer it to an airtight container. Refrigerate for up to 10-14 days or freeze for up to two months. Thaw in the fridge when ready to use.
